**Overview**

DLH is seeking a Clinical Trials Specialist that will be responsible for managing protocol teams as they design, implement, and report results from clinical trials as part of an NIH-funded research network focused on HIV/AIDS and their common comorbidities, including Tuberculosis and Hepatitis, as well as other emerging infectious diseases.

**Responsibilities**
- Reviews the informed consent form (ICF), develops study specific templates, approves and manages study specific essential documents
- Manages and communicates the status of study progress and activities, and drives resolution of issues encountered with sites during all phases of the study
- Partners with cross-functional teams (e.g., clinical data management, statisticians) during protocol development and early implementation
- Develops and implements processes to mitigate reoccurrence of impediments to protocol development and implementation. s
- Leads in assessing current and new processes, identifies and implements solutions to improve process efficiency within and across related functional areas
- Provides coaching and knowledge transfer to team members
- Prepares materials for meetings (e.g., Steering Committee and Investigator meetings, etc.)

This is a remote role - attendance at an annual network meeting in the DC area is required

**Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, or related skills required. Master's degree preferred. Excellent verbal communication and organization skills; ability to follow detailed work instructions; strong problem solving and decision-making skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work collaboratively

**Experience**

At least two years of experience in the design, development, conduct or analysis of clinical research required. Experience preferred in: HIV, HIV Co-infections, Phase I-III trials, medical writing, protocol development, project management or timeline management.

**Basic Compensation **$80,000 - $90,000 yearly salary
