Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor

Professional Medical Practice, P.C., is looking for a **Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) t**o work in the medical department at the **Sullivan County Jail** located in **Monticello, NY**.

This position is Monday - Friday during normal business hours 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Salary Range $45,000 - $55,000.00

- Must be certified as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-T, CASAC, CASAC2)
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related Human Services degree with a concentration in mental health course work.
- Minimum one (1) year clinical experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to function independently and demonstrating clinical competency
- Ability to gain trust of patients and build a working relationship
