City Editor

The privately owned Temple TX Daily Telegram, located in one of the 20 fastest growing cities in the country, seeks an experienced journalist to help lead our reporting staff as City Editor. This position will report directly to the Assistant Managing Editor and will be responsible for the following:

- Assign news stories to reporters.
- Edit news stories prior to publication.
- Coach and develop content producers.
- Produce content for print and online.
- Assist in the content budgeting process.
- Pagination using InDesign.

Hours: Full time. Hours Vary

Benefits: Benefits package includes paid health insurance for employee.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
