Description:
**Position Purpose**: The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and implement growth strategies for consumer mortgages including recruiting, sales and marketing, budget planning and management, and oversight of staff. The incumbent will also execute a personal marketing and sales strategy toward established sales goals and targets while directly managing support staff.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop origination growth strategy, collaborate with commercial and consumer segments to identify, and generate opportunities, establish sales goals for the local markets, determine marketing strategy and drive implementation through Mortgage Loan Officers.
- Engage realtors, developers, builders, community organizations and individuals to promote the Bank’s mortgage products and services, solicit residential mortgage sales, identify, and pursue cross-marketing and sales opportunities regarding other banking products.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations within a heavily regulated environment.
- Lead, promote and champion business and corporate initiatives including culture and change management, establish, and maintain a positive personal and company image within the local business and professional community.
- This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.

**Requirements**:

- Required Experience: 5+ years Recent, residential mortgage lending experience in the local market.
- Preferred Experience: 1+ years Supervision and recruitment of sales managers and/or loan officers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Exposure to collaborating and working with underserved communities.
- High degree of external and internal contact with people at all levels requiring excellent skills in both verbal and written communication.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal lending regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with tact, discretion, and courtesy within and outside the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently.
