**Technology and Operations Associate**

- **Organization Overview**
- Sakhi for South Asian Survivors exists to represent the South Asian and Indo-Caribbean diaspora living in America in a survivor-led movement for gender-justice by providing culturally competent direct services such as a helpline, counseling, advocacy, housing assistance, economic empowerment, food justice, elder abuse intervention, and youth programs that honor the collective and inherent power of all survivors of violence._

**Position Responsibilities**
- The Technology and Operations Associate is responsible for ensuring that Sakhi’s technology systems and facilities / operations processes are up-to-date on a day-to-day basis. This role completes data entry, cleanup, and report generation in Raiser’s Edge, fulfills facilities and inventory needs in each of Sakhi’s office locations in Queens and Brooklyn, including facilitating vendor relationships and maintaining inventory, and assists with employee onboarding and HR responsibilities. The Technology and Operations Associate will be based in Sakhi’s Finance Department and will report to the Sr. Finance and Operations Manager.
- **Principal Duties**

**Development**With support from the Sr. Finance and Operations Manager, maintains up-to-date records on donors, solicitors, and gift records in the donor database, Raiser’s Edge
- Acknowledges donations from funders and donors in a timely manner
- Assists Communications & Development team to execute and analyze fundraising campaigns and events including preparing reports using donor database, Raiser’s Edge and mailing lists
- Assists with research and implementation of cross-platform integrations Raiser’s Edge, such as ImportOmatic, Raiser’s Edge NXT, and third-party event management software, including completing on the job-training as needed to utilize platforms.

**Human Resources**Assists with recruitment and compliance activities, including employee onboarding with respect to policy, certifications, technology and systems, creation, transition and/or suspension of employee logins, maintaining password management systems (LastPass), collection and tracking of Sakhi hardware and software licenses, etc, and coordinating HR calendar
- Manages HelloTeam, Sakhi’s HR software, including developing and maintaining survey and performance review templates

**Office Management**Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment, manage storage areas, and manage staff requests for supplies and materials
- Assists Finance team in liaising with building staff and relevant vendors to maintain Sakhi facilities in good working order
- Troubleshoots technical issues with hardware and software
- Develops and maintains virtual filing system for employee records and assists with filing of other physical and digital company records
- Performs other administrative duties as needed

**Qualifications**
- Desired experiences are:Comfortable working with and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
-Familiarity with implementing internal donor recordkeeping protocols
-Familiarity with maintaining vendor relationships and facilities management
-Familiarity with South Asian immigrant communities is a plus
-Familiarity with issues of gender justice, domestic violence, gender-based violence is a plus

Desired competencies are:Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or any collaborative fundraising/project management/CRM databases
-Independent problem-solving skills, especially with technology and internal protocols
-Clear, direct, diplomatic, and sensitive in all verbal and written communication
-Able to juggle multiple deadlines and deliverables
-Ability to both develop and maintain intuitive recordkeeping systems
-Speaking and writing ability in any South Asian language a plus

**Compensation and Schedule**
- This is a part-time position with an expected schedule of 20 hours per week at an hourly compensation of $25/hr. The schedule will be set with your supervisor but fall within Sakhi’s normal business hours M-F 10AM-6PM. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of one day a week in office.
