Common Restaurant is looking for experienced professionals who can hold their own behind a generous craft bar specializing in high end spirits. Home to a Best of Award of Excellence wine list, bartenders in this position will need to have a base knowledge of wine and be prepared to work with an extensive program. The Wine Director works directly out of this location and will provide staff training and create assignments designed to assist the team to understand, appreciate, and sell wine. Bartenders at this location must be willing and able to learn about wine and to effectively speak about wine to our guests.

The bartender must be able to calmly and effectively work in an occasionally chaotic environment; successfully work in close proximity with others; efficiently work with a diverse guest population; have effective communication skills; have a genuine philosophy of
- and dedication to hospitality; and be willing to be creative.

In addition, the bartender must be able to stand for long periods of time without a break; remain professional while "on stage"; be able to bend at the waist, squat, twist, and lift overhead. The bartender must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $900.00 - $1,200.00 per week

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
