Wheeland Lumber Co., Inc a 4th generation sawmill manufacturer is hiring Lumber Handlers/ General Laborers.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Stacking lumber: By species, grade, length, size, type, and product specifications
- Sorting: Of lumber onto carts for shipping
- Inspecting: Incoming and outgoing materials for quality, damage, and proper labeling
- Maintaining inventory: By tracking the quantities and types of materials in the yard
- Helping with: Banding operations, painting, cleaning, and yard work
- Operate equipment as needed
Job Requirements:
- No educational requirement
- No experience needed
- Able to receive and follow instructions
