**Flag Football Instructor - After School Summer Program**

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement engaging flag football lessons that cater to the skill levels and learning styles of middle grade students.
- Teach the rules, techniques, and strategies of flag football in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ensure a safe playing environment, conducting all activities in compliance with school safety protocols.
- Organize, set up, and break down practice equipment before and after sessions.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding of the game.
- Foster a team spirit and fair play among students while emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding student progress and program updates.
- Plan and execute small-scale tournaments or game days for students.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a flag football coach or relevant role.
- Strong understanding of the game of flag football and its rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young students.
- First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
- A background in education, physical education, or sports management is preferred.
- Must pass a background check and have a clean criminal record.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 2 per week
