La Jolla Recovery is a leading outpatient substance use treatment facility dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals seeking recovery from addiction. Our multidisciplinary team of professionals is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients and helping them achieve lasting sobriety and wellness.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Therapist to join our team. As a therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic interventions, assessments, and support to individuals battling substance use disorders and/or mental health diagnoses. **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Individual Counseling**: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- **Group Therapy**: Facilitate group sessions, offering a safe and supportive environment for clients to share their experiences and learn from one another.
- **Supervision**:Two years post-licensure with ability to supervise
- **Assessment and Diagnosis**: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- **Treatment Planning**: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals for recovery.
- **Crisis Intervention**: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in moments of acute distress.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with all relevant regulations and facility policies.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including medical professionals, counselors, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
**Qualifications**:
- LMFT (2 years post with ability to supervise)
- Exposure and understanding of substance use field
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate approach to client care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
