This position is located in person at our corporate office in Griffith, IN.
Job Requirements**:Primary Job Duties and Expectations**:
- Daily communication with applicants, hiring managers, recruiters, vendors and the Safety Department.
- Must be able to communicate in a professional manner both on the phone and electronically.
- Assist applicants with all aspects of the hiring process.
- Following up with applicants on any missing information and collect required documentation.
- Run neccesary background investigation reports
- Including all VOEs (Verification of Employment) from applicant's previous positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure an efficient hiring process.
- Monitor applicant status and enter updates into the ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate list of open positions
- Update position details when necessary
- Assist with additional HR/ Safety Department duties as needed
**Requirements**:
- Associates Degree (preferred)
- Strong Computer Skills including Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience with an ATS system preferred.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self motivated to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
