Seed Conditioning Mill Machine Operator

**Job Overview**

Monitors seed conditioning process for all lots to ensure quality standards are met on agreed upon schedule to meet customer expectations.Ensures equipment is maintained and properly operated to be efficient and thorough in seed cleaning. Maintains professional and cordial relationship with coworkers. Follows Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.Performs all other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of seed conditioning experience or related work thereof to demonstrate knowledge of operations of seed conditioning equipment and maintenance.
- Ability to operate forklift vehicles.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift 65 - 75 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with adjustments as necessary

Conditioning Operators work closely with the Conditioning Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure that all conditioning runs meet customer quality requirements, while also attempting to maximize the total number of units bagged from each run. Other essential job functions may include but not limited to:

- Performing work activities safely
- Operating seed conditioning equipment according to instructions, including taking and documenting quality checks and activity as required
- Thoroughly cleaning all equipment between conditioning runs in order to maintain product integrity
- Safely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipment

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
