Adaptive Teaching & Learning Autism Services

Adaptive Teaching and Learning Autism Services is seeking qualified professionals who are passionate about helping children diagnosed with autism continue to grow as individuals.

**The majority of sessions with clients will be within a center environment, with the possibility of some sessions also occurring within the clients' homes or schools.**

**Clients may be located within Hagerstown and surrounding areas.**

Services are provided within the center, home, school and community environments as needed to target communication, social skills, generalization of skills and development of appropriate behaviors across all environments.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments for individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Provide supervision of behavioral therapy services to clients provided by Registered Behavior Technicians, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Conduct parent/caregiver training and progress review meetings
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
- Licensed as a Behavior Analyst within the state of Maryland
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy methodologies and strategies
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments using standardized tools
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members in a professional manner
- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
