**Laboratory Technician**

**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Perform laboratory tests and experiments following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in conducting quality control measures to ensure accurate results.
- Utilize laboratory techniques such as molecular biology, histology, and clinical laboratory procedures.
- Support scientific research and development activities under the guidance of senior staff.
- Maintain lab equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper functionality.
- Manage lab inventory by ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members on experimental design and data analysis.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards in the laboratory environment.

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline with a focus on research.
- Familiarity with animal physiology, veterinary terminology, and quality control practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of molecular biology techniques is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Previous experience in clinical trials or clinical lab operations.
- Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Interest in enhancing research efficiency through programming skills (e.g., Python).
