Driver/chauffeur

We are currently seeking for a professional chauffeur/driver in the Richmond and environs with good driving skills to drive our new branch manager.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.

**Duties**:

- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including box trucks, refrigerated trailers, and forklifts
- Load and unload goods and materials using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and navigate to destinations using GPS or maps
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and addressing customer inquiries or concerns
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, invoices, and delivery logs
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes

**Experience**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or courier
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to safely operate various types of vehicles, including forklifts and box trucks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $25.63 - $29.64 per hour
