Case Manager/foster Home Developer

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Social Sciences required; Child placing experience preferred; Flexible hours, will likely be outside normal 8:00-5:00 range. Must be organized with the ability to manage a varied schedule.

**Typical Case Manager Duties**:
Interview the youth in placement;
Maintain monthly notes and submit within required deadlines;
Prepare foster home evaluations;
Home visits and face-to-face contact;
Document all visits and important phone calls;
Provide ongoing training to foster parents;
Coordinate child and family visits;
Maintain personal contact with the school;
Be present or available for special school meetings.

Assisting Applicants in submitting required documents.

Maintain a flexible schedule to be available at their homes on the weekends, or after hours on weekdays.

Monitor to ensure all Applicants are viewing the required online training.

Maintain positive relationships with outside Representatives and church personnel.

Abilities:
An ability to assess the needs of the children and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

An ability to instruct, support, and/or confront clients, foster parents, biological parents, etc.

Must demonstrate initiative and be able to work independently.

Must be sensitive and compassionate toward foster parents and children.

**Foster Home Developer Duties**:
Provide assistance in the following areas:

- Typing home studies from notes and/or taped interviews.
- Typing weekly status to include items such as:

- Number of Applicants pending
- Number of missing documents pending
- Status of verification of Home Study being typed
- Percentage of tasks completed.Assisting Applicants in completing the Application, visiting the Applicant’s home or schedule an office visit.
- Review foster children's files for potential matches with foster parents in Therapeutic Family Life's regions
- Send referrals to foster parents for potential foster placements
- Prepare foster child's paperwork for placement in a foster home

Assisting Applicants in submitting required documents.

Maintain a flexible schedule to be available at their homes on the weekends, or after hours on weekdays.

Monitor to ensure all Applicants are viewing the required online training.

Maintain positive relationships with outside Representatives and church personnel.

Pay: $37,000.00 per year
