**Generac is looking for a qualified Machine Operator for Fabrication on 1st Shift at our Jefferson facility. Starting wage at $19-$21.75 depending on shift + Excellent Benefits + More**

**1st Shift: 5:00 am - 3:00 pm, Tuesday-Friday**

**Location: 900 N Parkway St, Jefferson, WI 53549**

**Overview**:
The **Machine Operator -- Fabrication **is expected to perform under the direction of the area supervisor, manufacture parts per plant specification in an accurate and timely manner utilizing a Press Brake Machine or CNC Machining Center/Fabrication equipment including while recognizing safety and efficiencies.

**Qualifications and Responsibilities (Machine Operator)**:

- Read and interpret blueprint specifications to determine procedures, verify programs and tooling
- Perform complex machine set ups and critical operations
- Position and replace tools, and set in relation to machine
- Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and verify conformance of work to specifications
- Understand special material handling required for materials and equipment used in the work cell
- Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.

**Physical Demands**:
This opportunity includes being on your feet 10 to 12 hours a day, lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted, and up to 100 lbs in a team lift. Walking, stooping, crouching, bending, and reaching above your shoulders are normal daily activities. This requires the use of power tools, vibrating tools, and following all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements required by safety policies.
