Sleep Coach

Lehan Drugs and Home Medical, a family owned and operated company serving the Northern Illinois area for over 75 years is looking for a customer service centered individual to hire on as a Sleep Coach at our Dekalb, Illinois location. This individual will provide patients, caregivers, and physician’s offices prompt and caring service in response to their requests and questions both on the phone and in person.

**General Responsibilities and Duties**:
Handles 40-60 patient calls per day, utilizing listening skills and taking detailed notes to ensure patients’ needs and concerns regarding their equipment or services are handled accurately and effectively.

Coordinating with Order Processing and delivery to ensure that patients receive proper equipment and supplies quickly and accurately.

Identifying complimentary products that may benefit the patient while providing additional information about the equipment.

Verifying patient demographic information, electronically verifying insurance, and ensuring that active prior authorization and/or referral are on file before dispensing.

Ability to understand and follow processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

No experience necessary. Extensive on-the-job training will be provided. Strong emphasis on positive attitude, ability to work within a team, and attention to detail.

Hours: Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Some Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. are required.

**Qualifications**:
Education: H.S. diploma or equivalent
