**Solvis Employment Services is now hiring a Warehouse planning with wave experience.**

Includes wave planning which enables you to group orders and lines for better visibility and control during order fulfillment. Wave planning provides real-time monitoring and exception reporting and flexibility during the order fulfillment process.

Responsible for allocating orders, releasing work to warehouse floor, balancing workflow, and ensuring inbound and outbound truck turn times are within acceptable levels.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planner to join our team.

As a Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain management.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Review daily backlog/orders based on priority, ensuring 100% of orders ship within window to support customer delivery schedule and outbound transportation plan is optimized.
- Manage planning and releasing of orders and replenishments to ensure schedules and quality standards are met, and WMS system is optimized
- Communicate with Transportation, Materials Planning, Field Services and Operations daily as needed to plan, coordinate, and resolve issues with daily workflow Communicate with Logistics to resolve any issues with outstanding orders.
- Monitor waves to ensure production rate is maintained, coordinate with warehouse team to ensure work is processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Research and resolve exceptions. Handle special requests.
- Serve as a backup for performing weekly truck planning/build strategy.
- Actively contribute to identifying / implementing continuous improvement opportunities in wave planning processes
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High School or GED required
- Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint as well as data entry and typing ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions produced manuals and to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to manage small project assignments as necessary.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:
