Movie Lighting

Job Description:
We are the North American branch representing an international film lighting manufacturer actively penetrating the North American market. Our small team based in South El Monte is looking to add a technical/warehouse worker to boost both our warehouse operations and marketing activities.
Responsibilities for this position include:

- Keeping an organized warehouse through detailed inventory documentation and routine cleaning
- Thoroughly inspecting and testing film lighting equipment to maintain quality control by identifying physical and/or functional defects
- Preparing outgoing orders for pickup or delivery; including logging paperwork, packing products, palletizing boxes, and loading vehicles
- Performing in-depth technical demos of our products both in-house and at various stages, studios, universities, etc.
- Assisting lighting technicians both on and off set for various productions when opportunities arise
- Extremely attentive to detail
- A graduate of film school or at least possesses an associate’s degree
- Passionate about filmmaking
- Knowledgeable regarding movie lighting and equipment maintenance & repairs
- An independently motivated individual who is efficient even without supervision
- A team player who is willing to share the burden of less desirable tasks
- Regularly thinking critically about how to optimize their duties
- An effective written and oral communicator
- Able to adapt to rapidly changing requirements
- Experienced with social media platforms and photo and video editing software
- Able to handle physical tasks requiring both strength and endurance
- Knows their limits and is comfortable with asking for help rather than acting on assumptions

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Social media marketing: 1 year (preferred)
- Filming: 1 year (preferred)
