CNC Programmer

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Write CNC Programs to optimize efficiency while being able to maintain the tolerance needed on various one-of-a-kind die components.
- Write CNC programs for 3-axis machining centers using MasterCam version 2024.
- Communicate instructions and priorities to CNC machinists.
- Must be able to analyze 3D designs and models to be manufactured.
- Maintain accurate CNC program database to reflect current revisions and programs.
- Ability to operate CNC machines when necessary.
- Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines.
- Ability to monitor workloads and adjust schedule to hit target due dates.
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
- Additionally, this person must maintain a good attendance record, practice safe work habits and follow general safety procedures.

**Skills, Education and Experience Required**:

- Three years of experience writing CNC Programs for custom one-of-a-kind parts.
- One year of experience using MasterCam.
- Computer literacy in CAD Software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Proficient understanding of G-code.
- Knowledge of cutting tool selection for highest efficiency and accuracy.
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently or as a team to accomplish common goals.
- Ability to communicate instructions to Teammates.
- Must possess excellent attention to detail.
