Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team. As a Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our shop, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

**Duties**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel
- Assign tasks and provide guidance to ensure timely completion of work
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
- Train and mentor shop employees on best practices and safety protocols
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain inventory levels of materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements

**Skills**:

- Proficient in operating forklifts and other shop equipment
- Ability to assemble and disassemble components accurately
- Knowledge of lathe operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations
- Knowledge of tooling requirements for various manufacturing processes
- Ability to package finished products for shipment
