**Duties**:
**Prepare food for service by washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and putting ingredients in cooking stations.**
- Follow recipes as instructed by a cook and or manager.
- Empty waste disposal devices such as toilets, sweeping machines, trash cans, and dumpsters.
- Clean surfaces by wiping down counters, cabinets, and shelves.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces throughout the kitchen to prepare for food service.
- Cleaning equipment such as steamers, broilers, blenders, and other kitchen equipment.
- Dusting and sanitizing surfaces throughout the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean work area by keeping workstations clean, storing dishes properly, cleaning utensils and equipment properly, sweeping floors properly, etc..
- Ensure food safety standards are met by all employees by reporting any concerns or quality issues to management promptly.

**Experience**:

- Food preparation experience a plus, including: cooking, baking, meal preparation and meal preparation including chopping, cutting, peeling and serving size guidelines
- Experience with commercial equipment such as commercial ovens and commercial dishwashers preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or walk up stairs regularly required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
