Trust & Estates Litigation Paralegal

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and file petitions, motions and related court forms.
- Coordinate communication with courts, clients, and other relevant parties.
- Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Analyze complex legal issues related to trust and estate administration and guardianship procedures, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.
- Prepare correspondence, affidavits, and other legal documents as needed.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of their matter.
- Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to streamline workflow and ensure efficient case management.
**Qualifications**:
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a litigation paralegal; experience in trust and estates and guardianship is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation cases.
**Skills**:
- Proficient in legal research, document drafting, and case management.
- Strong knowledge of probate laws and procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Technology:
- Proficient in legal case management software, preferably Clio and/or NetDocuments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
