SaltBlock Hospitality is seeking part-time, seasonal and on-call Event Chef team members to join our growing Hospitality team. As an Event Chef you will join the on-site catering + culinary team to work as a team in order to execute each individually created event and service all guests with a world class experience.

**Responsibilities + Deliverables**
- Meet the SaltBlock Catering team on-site of the scheduled venue space on time and ready to work.
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown all of event assets, including kitchen area.
- Maintain high-level of professional customer service to the host + all guests
- Prepare food on-site for catering events in desired service style (buffet, plated, action stations)
- Flexibility + ability to pivot for each shift, as no two events are the same

**Qualifications + Requirements**
- Reliable Transportation
- Must be 18 years of age
- Catering/Banquet experience preferred, not required
- Evening and Weekend availability required
- Punctual, polished + professional
- Ability to multi-task + work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced high touch environment.
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs.
- Food Handler's Certification
- Knowledge of knife skills, prepping, temping and food presentation

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Shift:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends

Work Location: In person
