**Position Summary**:
The Environmental Service Director is a supervisory role that will work under the direction and report to the executive director.

You will work with multiple departments such as nursing, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, dietary, and administrative.

**Responsibilities & Duties of the Environmental Services Director**:

- direct and supervise all housekeeping and laundry personnel
- maintain inventory of maintenance and housekeeping supplies
- purchase ordering for multiple departments and facility as needed
- creating schedules and helping staff the housekeeping department
- bookkeeping of accounts payable and maintaining open relationships with vendors
- additional duties as requested

**Qualifications of the Environmental Services Director**
- Previous supervisor experience preferred
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulations
- Previous long-term care experience preferred
- Must be outgoing and a self-starter able to lead and direct

Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
