American Sign Language Teacher

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Teacher to join our team. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students reach their full potential. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of evaluation
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Stay updated on current educational trends and best practices in teaching
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with diverse student populations
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, grade assignments, and keep track of student progress
- Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes

Qualifications:

- Valid CA Single Subject Teaching Credential - American Sign Language
- Previous experience teaching at the high school level is preferred but not required

Pay: $55,013.00 - $100,574.00 per year
