**Job purpose**:
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for administering machine warranty between MEC Aerial, its customers and its vendors. This person will oversee the complete machine warranty process as it pertains to our customers, from receiving a claim to posting the credit. The Warranty Administrator represents the company, in its best light, to its customers and suppliers. The Warranty Administrator will also generate, submit, and track warranty submittal and reimbursement to/from suppliers and oversee the part returns to suppliers.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Safely and effectively execute warranty duties as set forth by department guidelines and by the Product Support Manager.
- Issue and track Warranty Return Authorizations.
- Effectively communicate with customers through warranty process from requesting part returns to notification of credits.
- Properly and accurately maintain the existing warranty record base.
- Identify incoming warranty parts and match with Return Authorization.
- Test warranty return parts to substantiate claim validity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

**Skills required for this position**:

- Strong computer and typing skills (60 wpm or better).
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel and general understanding of the other Microsoft Office suite.
- General mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Good verbal and written skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented with and ability to solve problems with little direct supervision
- Good mathematical proficiency

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma. College education a plus.
- Possess a current driver’s license and have reliable transportation
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and work with warranty return parts.
- Willingness to learn and evolve with technology.
- Dress in attire suited for the office
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Standing and sitting for lengthy periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work and parts testing. Must be able to lift 40 Lbs. Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
