The Division of Intergovernmental Relations (DIR) within the Department of Administration provides a broad array of services to the public and state, local, and tribal governments. It supports counties, municipalities, citizens, and businesses by providing support services in land use planning, land information and records modernization, municipal boundary review, plat review, demography, and coastal management programs. **Position Summary**:
The Wisconsin Coastal Management Program Policy Analyst Advanced, aids in grant project development and management, and develops program performance measures and implementation plans. This position analyzes state and federal legislation and policies affecting the coastal area of Wisconsin for review and action, if necessary, for the Wisconsin Coastal Management Council. This position also develops technical and policy information and makes presentations to communities, partners, and the Wisconsin Coastal Management Council.

**Salary Information**:
Starting hourly rate for this position will be $26.34-$43.46 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits. This position is classed as a Program & Policy Analyst Advanced and is assigned to pay schedule/range 07-03. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

**Job Details**:

- This position may require travel within and out of the State of Wisconsin. More information can be discussed during the interview process.Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct fingerprinting and background checks on applicants prior to selection. **DOA does not sponsor work visas.** In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.Certain positions within this Department may allow remote/work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit. **Qualifications**:

- Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:
- Experience and working knowledge of coastal management issues
- Experience with reporting on program tasks, goals, and/or objectives
- Experience with organizing meetings, conferences, or other events
