We are looking for a creative artisanal pizza maker **_with wood oven experience_** to join our team. Excellent pay, hourly or salary depending on agreed schedule/

**Job Duties**
- Prepare authentic handmade artisan pizza using a wood oven while maintaining Arpeggio's quality standards
- Strive to develop high quality, innovative and creative pizza menu offerings for our guests
- Develop and follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specification as set by the restaurant
- Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, hygiene, and other health and safety guidelines
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have at least 2 years’ experience making pizza in a high volume restaurant
- Must be personable and clean cut (pizza area is in the dining room)
- Must be a team player, able to get along with others
- Must have reliable transportation
- Comfortable working 45-55 hours/week.
- 2 references required

In 1993 the concept of Arpeggio was conceived. We wanted our restaurant to be a casual and intimate BYOB with an interesting menu focusing on the wonderful flavors of the Mediterranean.

We visualized a happy neighborhood establishment with delicious food, ample portions (nobody leaves hungry) and cheerful knowledgeable servers. The atmosphere would be homey and comfortable; no dress codes and no pretenses The next two years were spent developing the concept, experimenting with menu ideas in our own home kitchens, and dining in establishments up and down the eastern seaboard.
