**About Dr. Elisa C Alvarado**: Dr. Alvarado, a dedicated Internal Medicine practitioner, laid the groundwork for her medical journey at Huntington Hospital, where she only completed her residency but also served as distinguished chief medical resident her final year. Under Dr. Alvarado's leadership, the practice has blossomed into a sanctuary of health, emphasizing patient-centered approaches that go beyond traditional care.

Compensation is paid based on experience and will include a very competitive benefit package that includes medical, vision/dental, life insurance, and a 401 (K) profit sharing plan.

**Core Responsibilities**:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage patient care to improve clinical outcomes.

Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide clear explanations of medical conditions and treatment options.

Prescribe medications and other therapies, monitor efficacy, and make adjustments as needed.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.

Maintain timely and accurate patient records through our electronic health record system.

Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and stay updated with advancements in medical practices and technologies.

Perform physical examinations of patients to evaluate health and diagnose illnesses

Order and perform diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory tests

Determine, plan, and initiate appropriate treatment, and adjust treatment if necessary

Prescribe and dispense medications

Document medical information of patients and maintain electronic medical records, currently using Tebra EMR.

Educate, instruct, and counsel patients and families on presenting health problems, treatment plans, and home care, and encourage and promote preventative health care and positive health behaviors

Request consultation or referral with other health care providers, such as physicians and clinics

Actively maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends, and support research projects

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field a plus.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience; Knowledge of production and royalty accounting and management of a remote team experience a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of QuickBooks platforms; QuickBooks Certified a plus
- Ability to identify, comprehend and solve problems and important issues through review of accounting and financial data.
