**Job Summary**:
The Kitting Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance activities by preparing and managing kits of necessary parts, materials, and tools. This position involves regular interaction with planners, coordinators, and maintenance teams to optimize the kitting process and contribute to continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate daily with the Planner and Parts Coordinator to discuss the kitting projects.
- Work with the Planner to identify continuous improvement opportunities for recurring jobs.
- Follow the visual kitting status tagging process for each kit.
- Assemble kits with any consumable items needed for tasks that are not on the work pack Bill of Materials.
- Keep kits organized in the kitting and staging areas, managing the visual system effectively.
- Deliver kits to the staging area for work execution.
- Return any unused stock parts to the storeroom as kits are returned.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitting area.
- Update the status in the Computerized Maintenance Management System from ready to schedule.
- Assist with organizing rebuildable or repairable items for transportation.
- Add or remove items to/from the storeroom after receiving proper authorization.
- Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Team Leads to identify parts during focus team meetings.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
