We Are Hiring:

- **Department**:Plainwell Ambulance
- ** Schedule**:Fulltime. Day Shift.
- ** Hospital**:Ascension Borgess Hospital
- ** Location**:Kalamazoo, MI

What You Will Do:
Provide support treatment, care and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport.
- Arrive to the scene of an emergency, determine the situation, and develop a plan of action.
- Use appropriate medical equipment and comprehend the severity of the injury.
- Monitor patient condition and perform data collection. Communicate findings and patient condition to primary Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist with the mobilization, ambulation and transport of patients.

What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drivers License credentialed from the Michigan Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

**Education**:

- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
