Groundskeeper

Carlisle Public Schools is seeking a year-round full-time Groundskeeper starting June 1, 2024. Carlisle School District serves approximately 600 students and is conveniently located 6 miles from Billerica. This is an hourly position that offers health insurance and benefits. Must be flexible to work some weekend shifts with additional pay incentives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Tractor experience (Hydraulic License a plus)
- Snow removal
- Lawn and garden equipment experience (Plant knowledge a plus)
- Lawn equipment maintenance and repairs (Oil changes, etc.)
- Job entails partial custodial work early mornings and/or end of day or fill in as needed
- Support for the maintenance department
- Weekend detailed work with pay incentives
- 3 or more years’ experience desired
- Background check and physical required
- Performs other tasks as determined by the Facility Director

All employees are required to submit to a national fingerprint-based criminal background check in addition to a state CORI check.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
