Doorman/bouncer

**Pay structure is dependent on whether we are having an event that warrants a cover charge. Cover charge nights pay $15/hr plus $1 per person admitted. Non Cover Charge nights pay $20/hr.** **Mandatory Schedule is Friday and Saturday night 8pm to close each week. We are a Gay Bar. We need someone that is personable, not a grump.**

Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and assertive Bouncer to join our team. The Bouncer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our establishment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and control access to the premises
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements
- Enforce venue policies and rules
- Handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism
- Conduct surveillance to maintain order and security
- Respond promptly to disturbances or altercations
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary
- Provide first aid or assistance as needed

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in security, surveillance, or related field preferred
- Strong conflict management skills
- Background in law enforcement or military service beneficial
