The Takeda Analytics team plays a critical role in uncovering deep insights into patient, healthcare practitioner and health system unmet clinical needs to identify ways to improve care and outcomes. Takeda has invested heavily into analytics and data science tools, talent and processes to drive innovation that better shapes strategic decisions. The Takeda Analytics & Data Science teams are empowered to challenge the status quo and play an influential role in shaping strategic decision making. Takeda’s Analytics Leadership Development Program (ALDP) blends real-world, hands-on experience with an extensive pharmaceutical industry overview. The rotational program provides you a unique perspective into a world-class, data-driven pharmaceutical company while gaining an appreciation of the criticality of commercial analytics.

You will work with an inclusive & supportive team to analyze data, including complicated medical claims and pharmacy prescription datasets, while partnering closely with key business stakeholders to solve critical business problems which impact patients’ lives. ALDP Associates will have an opportunity to support both actively marketed pharmaceuticals and drugs currently being developed for launch.

You will have ample opportunities to communicate data findings and business insights to different cross-functional stakeholders, including senior Takeda management and leadership, brand, marketing, and sales teams to practice effective communication. Our ALDP program also provides you the opportunity to network with people, including access to a vast array of analytical leaders, at Takeda through various planned events and activities.

As a full-time ALDP Associate, you will spend approximately 2 ½ years completing three rotations in potential areas such as:

- Gastroenterology
- Neuroscience
- Plasma Derived Therapies
- Rare Diseases
- Commercial Data Management & Strategy
- Commercial Analytics & Forecasting
- Oncology
- Global Product & Launch Strategy

Qualifications:

- Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
- Minimum GPA 3.5/4.0
- Global mindset to thrive in a diverse work environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of coding techniques in SAS, R, or Python, as well as advanced Excel skills and Tableau visualization
- Master’s degree or PhD students in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Marketing Analytics or related field graduating spring 2023

$108,500.00 - $170,500.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position.
