Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. The School Counselor will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal development of students. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by providing guidance and counseling services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students to address academic, social, and emotional concerns
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students in need
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive environment for students
- Assist students in developing academic and career goals through academic advising
- Implement behavior management strategies to support student success
- Monitor student progress and provide interventions as needed
- Stay informed about child welfare and child protective services regulations
- Utilize conflict management techniques to resolve student conflicts effectively

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting
- Proficiency in conducting individual and group counseling sessions
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Certification or licensure as a School Counselor (if required by state regulations)
- Familiarity with academic advising practices

Pay: $88,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
