**Office Location: Onsite - Corporate Office, Midtown NYC**

**Job Summary**

Emigrant Bank is looking for an experienced Butler/Server who can assist with the daily operations of the Dining Room. The Butler/Server must have a background in serving, along with the strong ability to multi-task and assist the Chef and Executive Chef, as needed. This person must be able to assist in **all kitchen duties** including prep, utility work, cooking, taking orders, serving, clearing and cleaning dining room.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Manage all aspects of service, including setting up, serving, and clearing dining rooms to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by cleaning, washing, and organizing pots, pans, and other equipment
- Ensure that table settings are meticulously arranged, including polished silverware, crystal glassware, and fine china
- Provide discreet and attentive service to guests, promptly clearing dishes and refolding napkins as needed to maintain a seamless dining experience
- Execute floor care and maintenance tasks with precision, using cleaning products and equipment to ensure a spotless and polished environment
- Provide coverage for all positions as needed, ensuring smooth operations during absences or peak times
- Ensures proper food handling procedures (safety and hygiene) and practices are implemented and adhered to daily
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times in interactions with colleagues, supervisors, and guests maintaining a positive attitude and representing the establishment with integrity and courtesy
- Present oneself in a polished and professional manner, adhering to dress code policies and maintaining personal hygiene standards to uphold the professional image of the kitchen team and the establishment
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management

***Qualifications**:

- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 2+ years related experience

**Additional Requirements**:

- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Able to verbally communicate in English, thoughts and questions at a reasonable level of articulation
