**Class Definition**:
A Seasonal Groundskeeper maintains the grounds, paths, walkways, entranceways, roadways in and around all Army National Guard facilities throughout Rhode Island. To be responsible for all seeding, mowing, trimming and upkeep of grounds.

**Illustrative Examples of Work Performed**:
To keep grounds free of litter, debris or other objects or materials harmful to the operation of such grounds. To do related work as required.

**Required Qualifications for Appointment**:
EDUCATION: Such as may have been gained through graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Must be familiar with the operation of various types of lawn and landscaping equipment. OR, any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the above education and experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. At time of appointment, must be physically qualified to perform work assignments. Applicants must be 18 years old. Subject to BCI for security purposes.

**Supplemental Information**:
Seasonal position from May to September 2024. Start/end dates are flexible.
