**Position Summary**:
The Plant Manager, LP Cylinder is responsible for leading the Shohola, PA overall plant operations, promoting an environment of positive employee relations, safety, and quality to achieve the organizational strategy. The Plant Manager will lead by example and engage employees in creating a work environment that reinforces our positive culture and family values and demonstrates passion and urgency for meeting customer expectations. The Plant Manager will develop a continuous improvement and lean culture in support of improving safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost efficiency goals. The Plant Manager provides leadership for approximately 35 employees in 2 facilities and is responsible for their overall facility metrics.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and direct the plant operations team, coaching and developing for positive employee relations, best practice knowledge, managing performance and delegating authority and accountability, and coaching team members in “The Way We Lead” to achieve results and reinforce the positive culture.
- Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor plant performance to ensure achievement of current and future production targets, quality, delivery and safety standards.
- Drive rapid, significant and sustainable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, inventory, on-time delivery and lead times.
- Contribute to developing the manufacturing strategy and implementing the manufacturing plan for the site supporting the organization’s overall business strategy.
- Develop and lead a continuous improvement and lean culture; drive the implementation of the continuous improvement roadmap to achieve breakthrough performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Ensure key manufacturing metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently tracking the appropriate measures. Lead regular KPI reviews for the plant leadership team to ensure attainment of results and a sense of urgency for lean implementation priorities.
- Periodically present plans, results, strategy deployment and KPI progress to the Leadership Team.
- Establish and monitor operating budget. Continually evolve manufacturing efficiency, assessing opportunities and taking actions to reduce cost of direct and indirect labor, manufacturing overhead and inventory levels.

- Ensure effective allocation of resources across all areas of the operation to accomplish customer‐driven priorities.
- Work collaboratively across the organization to manage company growth strategy, which includes analyzing and providing recommendations to the Leadership Team.
- Collaborate across the organization with all levels and teams including administration, finance, sales, marketing and engineering. Partner with the commercial team to ensure the best possible product and customer satisfaction.
- Continually benchmark best practices internally (Quality Steel facilities) and externally to drive improvements across the facility.
- Develop, maintain, and foster positive relationships and partnerships with customers, vendors, suppliers, potential and strategic partners.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of operations leadership experience in a manufacturing setting required

demonstrating significant performance improvements.
- Demonstrated experience implementing a continuous improvement and lean culture, building and supporting a continuous improvement mindset, utilizing tools such as value stream mapping, kaizen, TPM, standard work, SMED, 6S and SIOP/production scheduling.
