**The Clinical Nurse II responsibilities include**:
- Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinicalstandards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Responsible forprofessional accountability and development.
- Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
- SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance andsupervision to a child.

**Requirements**:
**Certifications and Licensures**:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
- Preferred Nurse Specialty
**Education**:
- Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
- Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
**Experience**:
- Required experience includes 1 year RN Acute Care experience
- OR 6 months RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
