**Service Writer / Manager**

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of golf car experience or Automotive Dealership service experience
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
- Pleasant, energetic, conscientious, and dependable personality
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule appointments for repair, pickup and delivery, maintenance, recall work
- Greet customers, inspect their golf cars, and answer questions
- Document problems with golf cars and clearly describe them on the Repair Order
- Manage the workflow through the shop with the Shop Forman, communicating priorities with the Lead Tech. Evaluate staffing needs for workload
- Review Repair Orders in progress to ensure quality and timeliness
- Follow the status of a customer’s golf car from service bay entry through the completion of work
- Communicate any changes in timeline, repairs, or cost to the customer by phone as soon as they become apparent
- Assist with technical diagnostics and communication with manufacturer’s tech support and warranty departments.
- Order parts for inventory and specific jobs using a Purchase Order system
- Check in inventory when it arrives, log into inventory and stock parts
- Manage driver for pickups and deliveries, check routes for maximum utilization of equipment
- Maintain shop equipment, trucks and trailers. Includes scheduling of outstide maintenance needs.
- Create warranty reports and CCRT’s as required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
