**Your Role**
As the Janitorial Crew Leader, you will provide leadership to Janitorial Crew Members at each contract site in order to maintain the highest quality cleaning services. The Janitorial Crew Leader is the lead representative of Sertoma Centre at all sites and must project a positive, professional image to the customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Clean the assigned contracts according to the specifications of the contract agreement.
- Teach by demonstration and perform tasks along with the Crew Members assigned.
- Perform follow-up inspections of cleaning assignments given to Crew Members.
- Drive Sertoma vehicles with care and caution. Sertoma vans are used to transport Crew Members and equipment to job sites. It is extremely important that Crew Members and equipment be transported as safely as possible. There is NO SMOKING in Sertoma vehicles and seat belts are to be worn while driving.
- Remove, or cause Crew Members to remove, all equipment and supplies from vans after use and return to the proper storage area. It is the Crew Leader's responsibility that the equipment, supplies, and contract/van keys get returned to the proper storage area.
- Maintain all janitorial equipment assigned in "like new" condition.
- Report any equipment/van problems or malfunctions in a timely manner using the proper maintenance request forms.
- Serve as liaison between the contract sites and Sertoma Centre, Inc.
- Keep vans filled with gas. Tanks should be at least half full at all times.
- Fill out Vehicle Log Book in the van on a daily basis.
- Turn in time sheets and contract sheets the next working day after the 15th and end of each month.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner on the job site at all times.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- One year of experience performing janitorial or related cleaning work preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurance documentation.
- Technical skill in using janitorial equipment and chemicals.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good decision making ability.
- Ability to organize work and manage time.
- Ability to work with and effectively provide direction to people with disabilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
