Title: JeffSTAT Emergency Medical Technician - EMT (Critical Care Transport)
Location:444 N 4th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123
Pay Rate Range: $22.50 - $25.50 per hour, based on experience
Employment Type: Full-time; 12 hour shift (Overnights)
Available shifts: Nights (7pm-7am; 8pm-8am)
Pay and Bonus Incentives:
- $7,000 sign-on bonus for full-time- $8,000 sign-on bonus for full-time (military veterans)- Base Pay Rate Range: $22.50 - $25.50 per hour, based on experience- Competitive Productivity Bonus for every shift- Night Shift Differential- Overtime pay opportunities- Referral Bonus opportunities (refer EMTs and/or Paramedics)

**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with your fellow EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.- Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.- Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations.- Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.- Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.- Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.- Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable State and Regional Regulations (DMV & DOH)- Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.- Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.- Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.- Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.- Excellent verbal communication skills.- Perform other duties as required/assigned.
Qualifications:
- PA EMT State Certification (minimum)- At least (2) years of experience as an EMT- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record (must have had driver's license for a minimum of 2 years)- Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider- Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs. or more- Experience and comfort driving a box truck (preferred)- Previous 911 or CCT experience OR experience on an ALS transport vehicle in which you as the EMT were involved in patient care
