Calculate and compile Scope 1, 2, and 3 and GHG intensity-related data.
- Verify the accuracy of the data collected, identify and resolve data discrepancies, and provide suggestions for improving data quality.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain the main sources of changes over time and identify data issues.
- Interact with clients during assurance and readiness processes, actively contributing to resolving any shortcomings or deficiencies identified.
- Participate in carbon project validation and verification according to ISO standards.
- Identify trends, outliers, and areas where GHG emissions performance could improve.
- Model future company GHG emissions and emission reduction initiatives in GHG modeling software.
- Stay updated on changes to ESG regulations, standards, and guidelines such as those from the SEC, CA GHG Disclosure Rules, GHG Protocol, IFRS, ISSB, GRI, CDP, CSRD, and TCFD).
- Support in developing commercial proposals.
- Other duties that may be assigned by Supervisor.

**Position Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in calculating and reporting GHG emissions.
- Proficient understanding of the oil and gas upstream and midstream sectors.
- Experience in writing or reviewing ESG/Sustainability reports.
- Possess background knowledge of calculation methodologies and reporting of GHG emissions under The GHG Protocol and EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.
- Possess a working knowledge of U.S. federal and state GHG and methane regulations.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to analyze data, find potential errors, and present findings to Management.
- Proficient with technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent written, intra-personal, and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed organizational skills including the ability to manage several projects at once.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrate teamwork proficiency, responsiveness to supervision, adherence to schedules, meticulous attention to detail, and compliance with workplace protocols.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, engineering or related field from an accredited school
