We are seeking an energetic, collaborative team members to work with our students to empower them to discover and achieve their potential This team member will provide effective services to help all of our students succeed, socially, emotionally, behaviorally.
- **In this Role**:
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the General Education Paraprofessional will provide services to students, educators, administrators and families that improve students’ learning experiences. TheParaprofessional will support the Principal, Instructional Coaches, and Teachers with the implementation of literacy and math curriculum in the classroom and work with students in helping them meet their educational goals. Specific responsibilities will include:

- Support teachers and non-teaching staff in implementing interventions and academic support to students, may include administration of diagnostic assessments
- Employ strategies congruent with planned student outcomes
- Monitor student learning and support teacher in maintaining records of student performance
- Assist teacher in preparing lessons and materials to support identified students in identified areas, and delivery of the same
- Meet and plan with classroom teachers and other staff
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers
- Participate in professional development programs
- Serve as a ready resource to students to provide interventions that will lead each student to increased reading and math proficiency
- Support a system for accurate and complete record-keeping for the RtI process
- Work with the school team to maintain a safe and positive environment for learning
- Promote social-emotional health and wellness across school settings
- Regular, in-person attendance required

**Additional Duties**
Performs other administrative related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

This position is represented by the Wyoming Education Support Staff Association (WESSA) and is covered by our Collective Bargaining Agreement using the appropriate position step schedule.
Education
- Must have/obtain GED or High School Diploma
- Must be “highly qualified for No Child Left Behind” (Associates Degree, 60 hours of college credit or passing scores for ETS Parapro Assessment)
