**Duties**:

- Perform venipuncture to collect blood specimens
- Properly label and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Follow established protocols and maintain accurate records of all phlebotomy procedures
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines during specimen collection
- Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure complete specimen collection.
- Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment

**Skills**:

- Proficient in medical terminology related to phlebotomy procedures
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques used in specimen collection and preparation.
- Skilled in maintaining aseptic technique during specimen collection
- Knowledgeable about laboratory procedures for different types of diagnostic tests
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate and professional service

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
