Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent care and support to our furry guests. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where you can make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.

**Duties**:

- Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, exercise, and playtime
- Clean kennels and ensure a clean and sanitary environment for the animals
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the health and well-being of the animals and report any concerns to the veterinary team
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
- Assist with basic training exercises to promote good behavior
- Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting is preferred
- Knowledge of dog behavior, handling techniques, and basic training principles
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience in pet sitting, kennel management, or veterinary assistance is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 15 per week
