West Valley Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office looking for a Front Office/Back Office Medical Assistant Float

Are you looking for a low stress office environment? We are a small practice with a family like atmosphere. Friendly patients, staff, and providers make for a great work environment

This position is mostly part time with some full time needs to cover shifts. Starting June 1, 2024 clinic hours are M-TH 7:30am-5:30pm and Friday hours are 7:30am-12:00pm. Shift days/hours would change based on office need, however employee would be guaranteed a set minimum number of hours excluding holiday weeks. Main duties would be Front Office Administration with back office work as needed. If applicant is hired prior to June 1, applicant understands that schedule will differ to the hours listed above until clinic hours change.

**Front Office Duties Include but are not limited to-**

Answering telephones

Scheduling appointments

Taking Phone Messages

Patient Call backs

Telehealth administration

Referrals and Prior Authorizations

Fax inbox

Verifying Insurance

Checking in Patients

Scanning in Patient Documents

Medical Records

**Back Office Duties Include but are not limited to-**

Rooming patients and obtaining vitals including newborn and pediatric vitals

Assisting with Well Woman Exams

Vaccine and injectable medication Administration

VFC

EKG

Urinalysis

Covid/Flu/Strep Testing

Hemoglobin testing

MUST have a bubbly personality. Think Disney

MUST have Medical Office Experience
Electronic Medical Records Experience - Eclinicalworks a plus
1 yr or more relevant experience required.
Great Computer skills
Knowledge of basic office equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
