**Job Summary**

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets. Maintains a positive company image by being courteous and professional in all situations with customers and employees.

**Sales Associate Immediate Supervisor: Department Supervisor**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide superior customer service by being prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable of assigned area
- Straighten and maintain assigned area
- Stock new merchandise and monitor back stock
- Merchandise, arrange and display merchandise to attract customer attention and stimulate sales activity
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist Supervisor with signage
- Operate cash register as needed
- Assist team members and help in other areas as directed by supervisor or management.

- Be willing to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
