**THE POSITION**:

**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
In this Career and Technical Education Advisor 1 position, you will provide statewide leadership and technical assistance to support CTEs for programs of study, statewide articulation and credit transfer, nurse aide training programs, adult accreditation, and related training programs through the involvement of business and educational partnerships. This includes analyzing existing research and preparing in-depth reports, as well as communicating information, regulation, and policies through compliance reviews, presentations, and written communication to support career and technical education.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You must report to the office once per week, every Monday. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:
- Four years of professional experience in the field of career and technical education, including one year of experience in the development and implementation of career and technical education curricula or programs; **or**:
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
**Other Requirements**:
- This particular position also requires applicants to possess a minimum of two years of full-time professional career and technical education experience in a 9-12 or postsecondary environment.
